The head of the powerful Teamsters Union said that his members favor former President Donald Trump and it is the Democrat party’s job to figure out the reason.

Teamsters chief Sean O’Brien appeared on Fox Business Network where he spoke to host Neil Cavuto and said that 60 percent of his members want the former president back in the White House.

The host mentioned that Democrat vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz insinuated that the union chief did not show courage by not endorsing the Democrat presidential ticket, which he took issue with.

“That’s kind of a knucklehead statement. I show courage every single day. Our organization shows courage every single day. It’s disrespectful to our members and the process. He’s talking like an educator, like he’s in a classroom teaching a lesson. The lesson that needs to be taught is our members don’t need to be educated; our members are educated. And that’s the problem with his party right now. They’re looking down on our members, saying they have to be educated. What I would do if I were him is start talking to our members and find out what the actual problems are, instead of pointing fingers and looking for excuses. Find out the problems, get the solutions, and gain the support back,” O’Brien began

The host then asked O’Brien why it took decades to decide not to endorse a Democrat.

“I think you know my demeanor — I’m a pretty chill person. But when you’re attacking me personally and the organization for listening to our members, you do get fired up. Like anything else, we look back at who passed trucking deregulation, who introduced things like NAFTA, bankrupcty reform that was not done. A lot of our agenda was not put forward. Joe Biden has been the most pro-union president, but one issue does not define our support or our members’ support,” the union chief said.

“You look back over the last 40 years; for 16 out of the last 20 years, the Democratic Party has been in control. We didn’t get the Employee Free Choice Act when we had a full Senate, Congress, and a Democratic president. There are a lot of things that could have been done that haven’t been done. And now people are publicly saying in media forums like CNN and “The New York Times” that Big Tech are the Democratic supporters, and Big Tech is threatening a lot of our jobs with automation and AI,” he added.
