The Civil War within the Democrat party is only getting hotter as the Summer approaches.

Since Senate Minority Leader and New York Sen. Charles Schumer caved to Republicans in allowing the government to continue to be funded many Democrats have demanded a change at the top of their party.

Among them is Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, a founding member of the “Squad,’ who told her constituents in Minneapolis on Thursday that there needs to be generational change in the party.

“You know, you’ve got a president who basically campaigned on Haitians eating cats and dogs, who is our president right now, while Democrats were busy trying to figure out the perfect three sentences to put together to appeal to people. Clearly, that’s not working. So, I do think that there needs to be a sort of come to Jesus moment for Democrats, to understand that we are not divided by ideology,” Omar said to the crowd.

“What we are divided by is generational. And in tapping into the reality of what is happening on the ground, we have people who want to bring a knife to a gunfight and are not rising up to the moment. And I think the urgency of the moment that we are feeling is what the American people understand,” the controversial representative said.

“I have not had a town hall with this many people since I’ve been elected. My tele-town hall Tuesday night had 17,000 people. That’s insane. It’s because the people are desperate for leadership. The people are desperate for courage. The people are desperate for bravery,” the representative, who apparently considers herself courageous and brave, said.

“And I do believe it is not us telling Democrats what they should do in Washington. It’s all of you showing them what they should be doing in Washington. So, thank you,” she added.
