Texas physician Dr. Eithan Haim, who was prosecuted by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice after exposing allegations that Texas Children’s Hospital had conducted illegal child sex change procedures, saw his case dismissed on Friday following the Trump administration’s DOJ decision to drop all charges, The Houston Chronicle reports.

Court documents shared by Haim revealed that United States District Judge David Hittner stated, “As the direct and only result of a joint motion of the parties, the United States Attorneys Office of the Southern District of Texas, and legal counsel for the defendant, Eithan David Haim, the Second Superseding Indictment and all open counts in the above-listed criminal case are hereby DISMISSED with prejudice.”

Haim, who had been outspoken about what he described as a “kangaroo court” process under the Biden DOJ, took to social media on Thursday to highlight his case. “I am scheduled to go to trial in a place which has up until this point been nothing less than a kangaroo court. All of the most basic rules have been violated in favor of a corrupted DOJ and all of it has come at the cost of my constitutional rights,” he wrote.

He also accused the acting U.S. Attorney of disregarding the Trump administration’s recent executive order aimed at ending the politicization of the DOJ. “The Trump administration took office a few days ago and issued an Executive Order to end the weaponization of the DOJ against its own citizens. But I can assure you that today that weaponization is just as alive as it was January 19th, 2025,” Haim added.

The Biden DOJ had accused Haim of accessing protected health information without authorization, alleging he disclosed details about an underage child undergoing a sex change procedure, despite Texas law prohibiting such interventions for minors. Attempts by the Biden DOJ to issue a gag order on Haim were unsuccessful, as he posted a public statement that gained over 1 million views by Friday afternoon, the same day his charges were dismissed.
