Over ‘200 FBI agents’ embedded with crowd on Jan 6, GOP Rep. Clay Higgins says

In a recent interview, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) discussed the government’s involvement in the events of January 6, 2021, asserting that “at least 200” FBI agents, disguised as Trump supporters, were present in the crowd, characterizing the incident as a government operation.

This revelation, made in an interview on Newsmax, echoes statements made by Jeffrey McKellop, a former 3rd Special Forces Group soldier and US government contractor, who has been held as a political prisoner since March 2021.

McKellop, after examining video footage and evidence from the January 6 protests, identified government informants and agitators among the Trump supporters.

The FBI confiscated his research, attempted to silence him, and recently relocated him to a mental hospital.

According to McKellop, he recognized undercover agents based on their attire, movements, and group behavior, drawing on his experience in crowd control and undercover operations.

Rep. Higgins expanded on these accusations, stating that the FBI not only had agents embedded within the crowd on January 6 but also infiltrated online chat groups, websites, and social media accounts discussing objections to COVID restrictions.

He alleged that messages inciting violence or proposing the occupation of the Capitol were led by FBI agents within these groups.

Rep. Higgins emphasized the depth of FBI involvement, extending beyond January 6 to the preceding days, weeks, and months.

“The FBI was not only involved in the actions on January 6 from within, they had, I suspect, over 200 agents embedded within the crowd, including agents or as they would call, human assets inside the Capitol dressed as Trump supporters before the doors were opened,” Higgins said. “Beyond that, the FBI had embedded themselves and infiltrated online chat groups and websites, and social media accounts across the country with any group that was discussing objections to COVID oppression. And the FBI effectively infiltrated those groups.”

“And when you track the text threads and the communications within those groups and find the origins of suggestions of potential violence or an active occupation of the Capitol on January 6, you’ll find that those messages were led by members of the groups that ended up to be the FBI agents that had infiltrated the group. So the FBI’s involvement was deep, not just on J6, but on the days and weeks and months prior.”

Rep. Higgins called on conservatives and Republicans to oppose funding a Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI that he perceives as weaponized against the American people.
