Tucker Carlson Confirms He Will Interview Ukrainian President Zelensky

Tucker Carlson has revealed that he will be interviewing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, marking a notable addition to his series of high-profile interviews since leaving Fox News. Carlson made the announcement through a social media post to X.

“Looks like we’ve got the Zelenskyy interview. We’ve been trying for two years, and with particular intensity after interviewing Putin in February,” Carlson stated. “The point is to bring Americans much-needed information about the conflict that’s completely reshaping their country’s position in the world. Coming soon we hope.”

This upcoming interview comes after Carlson’s controversial discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this year. Zelensky had harshly criticized Carlson’s interview with Putin at the time, calling it “bullsh*t.”

“I don’t have time to hear more than two hours of bullsh*t about us, about the world, about the United States, about our relations and this interview with a killer,” Zelensky said last February.

During his interview with Putin, the Russian president justified his invasion of Ukraine by claiming that Nazism existed in the country and could not be tolerated. When questioned about the possibility of peace talks, Putin asserted that Ukraine had aligned itself with NATO, effectively discarding any chance for peace with Russia.

Carlson expressed surprise at Putin’s lack of recollection regarding his last conversation with Biden, “who is funding the war” in Ukraine. Additionally, Carlson was taken aback by Putin’s apparent disinterest in “working things out” with Biden.

The release date for the interview with Zelensky, or when the interview will take place, has not yet been announced.
