President Donald Trump took a swipe at former President Joe Biden after his annual physical exam at Walter Reed Medical Center.
“I think I did well… I felt I was in very good shape — good heart, a good soul… I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test, and I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” the president said after his exam.
“Hey, everybody,” the president said. “Just got back from Walter Reed … I think I did well, every test you can imagine. I was there for a long time, the yearly physical. I think I did well, I think they’re releasing the report on Sunday, the doctors, highly respected doctors. It’s great, amazing place.”
“I felt I was in very good shape — good heart, a good soul, very good soul. I took — I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test, and I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” he said.
“I took just a lot of different tests having to do with the heart, having to do with other things,” he said.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Friday when she spoke to reporters that the former president and his team his information from voters.
“I can tell you there was certainly a lack of transparency from the former president, from the entire former administration,” she said. “And frankly, a lot of people in this room, when it came to the health in the competence of the former President of the United States, Joe Biden — there was one of the greatest cover-ups and, frankly, political scandals this nation has ever seen. It’s been unraveled in some recent books that are being written by journalists who engaged in that cover-up in scandal, which is quite ironic.”
