Trump Declares Late Pardons Granted By Biden to Be ‘Null and Void’

In the early hours of Monday, President Donald Trump announced that he would “void” the pardons issued by President Joe Biden during his final days in office.
“The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen,” Trump wrote on social media shortly after midnight.
“In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them!” Trump said. “The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime.”
“Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level,” he concluded. “The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!”
The president’s position follows the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project revealing that Biden used the same autopen signature on multiple pardons during his presidency.
Some key documents, such as Hunter Biden’s pardon and Biden’s announcement of his withdrawal from the presidential race, have been found to be hand-signed, according to the watchdog.
However, several other controversial pardons—including those for Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, the January 6 Committee, and various members of the Biden family—were all signed using the same autopen signature. This information was shared by Kyle Brosnan, chief counsel for the Oversight Project, in an interview with The Daily Wire.
Brosnan expressed that using an autopen to sign presidential pardons is particularly troubling, as the authority to issue such pardons is a “constitutional principle” that rests solely with the president.
“You have to look at it in the context of President Biden’s mental decline,” Brosnan said, noting that Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report last year called Biden an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
“I think we all saw with our own eyes his mental and physical deterioration over the course of his presidency,” Brosnan said. “There’s article after article that comes out showing how the Biden administration and his staff shielded him from public view, retinkered his schedule throughout the presidency, tried to script even what reporters he was calling on at press conferences, and that volume of evidence shows that President Biden wasn’t really running the White House. It was the staff. So if he’s not hand-signing these legally operative documents like pardons or even bills into law, that raises another question.”
