Pollster Matt Towery has fantastic news for former President Donald Trump but it is not what Democrat presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, wanted to hear.

Speaking on Fox News the pollster said that the momentum with minority voters is trending in the former president’s favor as black male voters are abandoning the vice president.

“There is momentum with Trump there wasn’t that momentum in 2020 you end it was quite momentum in 2016. My second time as a refugee from Florida to broadcast. Going for quick observations. First of all Trump is winning and state says we see African American vote really collapse. Not collapse in a massive but in a manner never seen among Democratic nominee before particularly Black men. He’s gaining among independents and third the prediction models are still trying to say harasses going to win but they didn’t catch the change momentum that we saw a couple weeks ago and it now they are playing catch up,” the pollster said.

“One last point in Florida where we are tonight as well as North Carolina there were concerns about turnout and making sure Republicans can get to the vote,” he said.

In an effort to attract more black male voters the vice president’s campaign had former President Obama speak to them, but it did not go as planned as many believe he insulted them.

“We have yet to see the same kinds of energy and turnout in all corners of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” the former president said at a “Black Voters for Harris” event in Pittsburgh. 

“I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers,” he said.

“[Y]ou’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses,” he said of black men. “I’ve got a problem with that.

“Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that,” he said.
