Despite not having a background in the news industry or media, Hunter Biden will be featured as a guest teacher at a Tulane University for a class on how the media impacts public policy, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The course, titled, “Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts” features several guest speakers, including Biden.

The course syllabus states, “America’s rapidly advancing partisan divide is fueled substantially by the growing political polarization increasingly evident in our news media. This course will explore the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news, and the economics of the news business impact public policymaking in Washington, D.C.”

Other guest speakers throughout the course include:

  • Dr. Deborah Birx, White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator under President Donald Trump
  • Juan Williams, political analyst for Fox News Channel
  • Susan Glasser, columnist for The New Yorker
  • Margaret Sullivan, Washington Post columnist; Kylie Atwood, national security correspondent for CNN
  • Margaret Brennan, Face the Nation moderator
  • Bret Stephens, New York Times columnist
  • Dr. Michael Fauntroy, a professor in the Political Science Department at Howard University.

This isn’t the first gig Hunter has taken in which he has no professional training. In fact, despite not having any experience in the oil and gas industry, Biden was able to secure a $50,000-a-month position on the board of Ukrainian energy company, Burisma Holdings. He also, according to the Daily Mail, will soon have his artwork featured at a solo exhibit at an upscale New York City gallery.
