Kyle Rittenhouse who is charged with killing two people and wounding a third during protest in Kenosha Wisconsin is released from custody after posting $2 million bail.

Rittenhouse’s attorney, Lin Wood wrote today on Twitter that his client was out of jail. “God bless ALL who donated to help #FightBack raise required $2M cash bail,” he wrote. “Special thanks to Actor Ricky Schroder @rickyshroder1 & Mike Lindell @realMikeLindell for putting us over the top. Kyle is SAFE. Thanks to ALL who helped this boy.”

Rittenhouse is accused of fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and also wounding Gaige Grosskreutz. The confrontations took place while Rittenhouse was defending businesses from being looted and burned following the riots that occurred after the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Rittenhouse told police he fired in self defense after being attacked. Video footage shows a gun going off behind Rittenhouse before he shot and killed Rosenbaum.

Another video shows him being chased and attacked by multiple people. It was at that point when Huber hit him in the back of the head with the sharp edge of his skateboard. Rittenhouse then fired one round hitting him in the chest.

The third attacker, Gaige Grosskreutz, lunged with a handgun, Rittenhouse defended by shooting him in the arm.

Rittenhouse faces multiple charges, including intentional homicide, reckless endangerment and being a minor in possession of a firearm. Minors are not permitted to carry or possess a gun in Wisconsin unless they’re hunting. He is due back in court on Dec. 3 for a preliminary hearing.

This case has become very political as supporters of Black Lives Matter consider him to be a white supremacist while many others are happy he was there to defend businesses that have suffered greatly from the destruction of riots, on top of barely staying afloat from months of covid lockdown rules.
