Jill Biden’s Viral White House Christmas Dance Video Was Produced by Troupe that Promotes Far-Left, Anti-White Causes

The New York City tap dancing troupe, Dorrance Dance, featured in a Christmas video by First Lady Jill Biden, is facing backlash for supporting far-left groups that advocate for prison abolition and defunding the police.

Dorrance Dance’s website encourages visitors to engage in “prison abolition” work and directs them to join far-left organizations like Black Lives Matter and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). These associations promote supposed activism against systemic racism and police funding.

Furthermore, Dorrance Dance endorses organizations like M4BL (Movement for Black Lives), which advocates for defunding the police, Critical Resistance, which seeks to end the prison industrial complex, and INCITE!, a network of radical feminists of color working to end state violence. INCITE! is also known for its stance on alleged “genocide” by the Israeli government against Palestine, Fox News Digital reports.

The First Lady’s Christmas video, featuring Dorrance Dance, received harsh criticism on social media for its lack of a Christmas theme. The video showcased dancing in colorful costumes, with many viewers expressing disappointment in the lack of any meaningful Christmas imagery.

The White House has not responded to inquiries regarding whether Jill Biden was aware of Dorrance Dance’s affiliations with controversial policies or the potential cost to taxpayers for the performance.

The group’s website features an “anti-racist syllabus,” encouraging support for LGBTQIA+ causes and anti-police groups, The Post Millennial reports.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation expressed appreciation for Dorrance Dance’s use of art as a form of protest, supporting their goals of reimagining a world without white supremacy and anti-Black systems.

Dorrance Dance has not responded to requests for comment on these matters.
