Hunter Biden Laptop Whistleblower Says FBI Shunned Him Ahead of 2020 Election

A former associate of the Biden family who blew the whistle on first son Hunter Biden’s laptop says the FBI essentially ignored him in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election.

According to Tony Bobulinski, a former FBI official who despised then-President Donald Trump sank the bureau’s investigation into Hunter Biden and failed to follow up with him after he turned whistleblower as the agent promised.

In an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson that airs Tuesday evening, Bobulinski provided details into what did and did not take place in the crucial run-up to the election with then-FBI special agent Timothy Thibault.

“Tim Thibault, in his last discussion with my legal counsel, said, ‘Listen, we know Tony’s cooperating. We appreciate all the information he’s provided. We will follow up with you. We are definitely going to have him come in for a follow-up interview, or spend some more time on this,’” Bobulinski told Carlson. “And I haven’t heard from him since. Nor have my lawyers.”

“That’s shocking,” an incredulous Carlson said in response.

“Uh, shocking, that would be one adjective,” Bobulinski said.

Bobulinski appeared to corroborate a previous report from New York Post columnist and author Miranda Devine about the former agent’s alleged efforts to go out of his way to shut down the investigation, which may have had an effect on the outcome of the election. Thibault, who left the bureau under strange circumstances, was key to burying allegedly incriminating evidence about Hunter and Joe Biden on the laptop noted Divine, who is the author of a book on the contents found on the device called “Laptop From Hell.”

Bobulinski’s “evidence appears to have fallen into the same black hole at the FBI as Hunter’s laptop, never to be seen again,” Devine wrote.

The Daily Wire adds:

The computer, which Hunter Biden abandoned at a Wilmington, Delaware, computer repair shop, is believed to have been in the possession of the FBI since late 2019, more than a year before the election. Photos, videos, emails, and text messages on the device, which were also ignored by legacy news outlets, paint the president’s son as a drug-addled, venal degenerate and raise troubling questions about President Joe Biden’s own role in his son’s corrupt dealings.

Thibault was the Washington Field Office’s point man to manage Bobulinski, according to Devine. Bobulinski was interviewed by the FBI for more than five hours on October 23, 2020, and told agents what he knew about then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s shady international business deals. The interview came a day after Bobulinski named Joe Biden as “the Big Guy” Hunter Biden referenced in an email as being due 10% of the proceeds of a payout from Chinese energy firm CEFC.

Thibault retired from the bureau amid an ongoing investigation into his activities by special counsel John Durham. Two GOP senators, Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, have publicly accused Thibault of interfering with the Hunter Biden probe.
