Harris, who chose radical leftist Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate, held her event a few days after former President Donald Trump’s rally in Asheville, North Carolina. WBTV reported that Trump’s rally on Wednesday drew thousands of supporters.

“Even though Harris tapped Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who served in the national guard, as her running mate, Trump polls stronger with military veterans by 22 points,” Fox News reported this week. “It remains unclear if the stolen valor accusations over whether or not Walz embellished his service for political gain has had any effect on those polls.”

Meanwhile, Harris faces the challenge of distancing herself from the unpopular policies of President Joe Biden, her boss. According to polling exclusively obtained by Breitbart News, strong majorities of Americans blame Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, for Biden’s policies.

The Senate Opportunity Fund surveyed 800 likely voters from July 22 to July 24 about the Democratic transition from Biden to Harris. The survey reveals minimal differences in voter perceptions of the policy achievements of Harris and Biden. It also breaks down participants into “contested states,” totaling 511 likely voters.

The slide deck featuring the striking findings from this study was exclusively provided to Breitbart News before being released to the public. The results are likely to heighten concerns among Democrats who were relying on Harris to steer their party back on course. Instead, it appears that the situation is deteriorating, with Democrats facing a challenging position following Biden’s withdrawal from the race last month. According to the outlet, Harris is not proving to be the savior they had hoped for.
