The Missouri couple who brandished weapons in the process of trying to protect their home from a Black Lives Matter mob are now facing felony charges.
Mark and Patricia McCloskey of St. Louis were indicted by a Grand Jury today and charged with exhibiting their guns at the mob of protesters and tampering with evidence. The charges stem from a June event where a crowd of approximately 300 BLM “activists” stormed onto the property of their private neighborhood.
According to KMOV, The couple’s attorney, Joel Schwartz, said the grand jury isn’t aware of all the facts surrounding the case.
“Once all the facts are out, it will be clear the McCloskeys committed no crime whatsoever,” Schwartz said. “Frankly because the grand jury is not an adversarial process and defense counsel are not allowed in there and I have no idea what was stated to the grand jury and what law was given to the grand jury.”
Anyone who follows the news has likely seen the violent destruction these so-called peaceful protesters have caused across the country. In fact, it has been estimated that the BLM rioters have cost over $2 billion in property damage claims. Any sane person would want to do anything they can do defend themselves and their home when hundreds of rowdy rioters crash through the gates of their neighborhoods.
There have been numerous instances of innocent Americans getting arrested for protecting themselves from these mobs. If Joe Biden and the Democrats gain power, everyday citizens will likely suffer under this type of rule on a national scale.
