Newly obtained documents reveal that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the recently retired director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is being showered in taxpayer-funded luxuries such as security detail that includes a limousine.
The US Marshals Service, as per documents acquired through a Freedom of Information Act request, took over Fauci’s security responsibilities from the Department of Health & Human Services at the beginning of 2023. The documents indicate that Fauci enjoys perks such as transportation via a limousine.
THIS IS GOLD: Anthony Fauci has been exposed by Rand Paul for his hand in ‘gain of function’ research that lead to the weaponization of the Coronavirus. Fauci tried to use semantics to get out of it but failed. Investigate him now pic.twitter.com/BzdAsbRdJ3

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) raised concerns about Fauci’s employment status and taxpayer-funded benefits in a letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. Paul revealed on Fox News that HHS stated they hadn’t been paying for Fauci’s security since January, but it was later discovered that the US Marshals were funding it.
“HHS actually came back to us and said they haven’t been paying for it since January. But then we discovered that Fox did a Freedom of Information Act and a judge forced them to say that, well, while HHS wasn’t directly funding it, the U.S. Marshals were funding it,” he said.
“So it’s a terrible example of the government lying to its representatives and to the people. But also, why is a retired guy, the only retired official I know of that gets this kind of treatment is a former president,” Paul added.

Paul further wondered if Fauci receives pro bono legal representation in retirement, suggesting that it might be necessary at some point. He pointed out that Fauci’s wealth increased by 30 percent during the pandemic, indicating that he should be capable of affording his own security without taxpayer support.
Fauci retired as the highest-paid federal government employee after a 54-year career.
It was recently announced that he would join Georgetown University as a “distinguished” professor in the School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine while enjoying a pension of over $400,000 per year.
