Since December, there has been a double-digit increase in the percentage of Americans who think the country is now headed in the wrong direction.

The poll comes after the January 6th Joint Session of Congress when many on the right were holding out hope that Vice President Mike Pence would object to electors from fraud-ridden states, opening up the possibility for President Trump to remain in office.

The USA Today/ Suffolk University poll released over the weekend found that 65 percent of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction—up 16 percent since a Dec. 28th poll which found only 49 percent of respondents felt the same way.

The Daily Caller reports:

The number of Americans who said the country is headed in the right direction also fell by double-digit margins. Just 22% of respondents in January said the country is on the right track, compared to 34% who said the same in December.

Republicans were considerably more likely than Democrats to say the country is headed in the wrong direction, according to survey results. While 84% of Republican respondents said the country was on the wrong track, 52% of Democratic respondents said the same.

As conservatives continue to be silenced and canceled by Democrats and social media for expressing concerns about the integrity of the presidential election and Washington, D.C. is turned into a war zone with no explanation from our leaders, it’s no wonder so many Americans have a bleak outlook on the future.
