In the past 3 elections cycles, one small bakery in Hatboro, PA has predicted the outcome of the presidential election.

As reported in Fox News, “Lochel’s Bakery, located in Montgomery County just north of Philadelphia, had launched its most recent ‘cookie poll’ about six weeks ago, offering both ‘Trump 2020’ cookies and ‘Biden 2020’ cookies in red and blue, respectively. This year’s sales, however, are unlike anything the bakery has seen during the last four election cycles. ‘People are going crazy for them,’ said bakery owner Kathleen Lochel in a statement to Fox News, adding that the shop usually only sells a few hundred each election.”

Unlike previous years, Lochel’s has already sold thousands of the tasty treats in the lead up to the 2020 race. They even had to close the bakery early so they could “bake, recoup and stock.”

Due to the high demand, Lochel’s has instituted a 6 cookie limit per walk-in customer. If you would like an advance order, it has to be 100 or more cookies with at least 3 days’ notice.

Lochel’s told Fox News, “So far as of 10 a.m. Trump is in the lead 3 to 1”.

Lochel’s is in a county where 58% of voters cast their ballot for Hillary in 2016 yet their cookie poll still accurately chose Trump’s last election. With so many more cookies being sold for Trump this year we can only imagine it will be a landslide.

EPIC: Trump Fans Take Over NYC’s Fifth Ave in Show of Support for POTUS

Over 100 vehicles rolled into Manhattan yesterday morning, halting traffic for at least 30 minutes as they drove by Trump Tower

Over 100 vehicles rolled into Manhattan yesterday morning, halting traffic for at least 30 minutes as they drove by Trump Tower in a show of support for President Donald Trump as he recovers from the coronavirus.

The drivers blasted their horns and waved flags while chanting “four more years!”

The group also stopped for a moment of silence to pray for the president, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week.

According to the New York Post, members of the group, “The Long Island Loud Majority” woke up around 4 a.m. yesterday to head to the city:

“I felt the love and energy today,” the 28-year-old Trump supporter from Farmingdale told The Post of the “prayer vigil” for POTUS and FLOTUS.

“Today the energy was electric. It was amazing — no chaos, no [middle] fingers, no drama, just supporting our president and our [men and women in] blue,” she said.

Hahnan said being at Trump Tower felt “sentimental” because “we were praying for him.”

“I’m praying for every single person in this world … including President Trump, the first lady and the whole administration,” she said.

“I pray that my country comes together because we are divided right now. We should be standing together praying for our president and our first lady. He is still a human being. He is 74 years old,” she said, noting how his age put him in the high-risk group for the disease.

Supporters have also been gathering outside of Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where President Trump is currently recovering from his diagnosis. The president has sent those supporters chocolates, pizza, and even did a drive-by yesterday to thank them for their support.

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the president’s health continued to improve overnight and that he is “optimistic” President Trump will return to the White House later today.

“Spoke to the president this morning,” Meadows said. “He continued to improve overnight and is ready to get back to a normal working schedule.”

Facebook Paying Social Media Users to Suspend Accounts Ahead of November Elections

Need a little stimulus money to get you through the pandemic and sick of political nonsense on social media? You’re in luck! Facebook is offering money to those who are willing to stop using Facebook and Instagram in the weeks before the November presidential election. “To assess the impact of social media on voting, the company will pay selected members up to $120 to deactivate their accounts beginning at the end of September” according to the New York Post.

The announcement came from yet another social media outlet, when Facebook spokesperson Liz Bourgeois tweeted last week, “anyone who chooses to opt-in whether it’s completing surveys or deactivating FB or IG for a period of time – will be compensated. This is fairly standard for this type of academic research.”

Facebook expects 200,000 to 400,000 people to take part in the research study. “Representative, scientific samples of people in the US will be selected and invited to participate in the study. Some potential participants will see a notice in Facebook or Instagram inviting them to take part in the study” said Facebook.

Samples of the population will “mirror the diversity of the US adult population, as well as users of Facebook and Instagram” claims the social media giant. Last week the company CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced he was banning all new political ads from the Facebook platform to help thwart “misinformation.”

The results of the study would be expected to be released sometime in 2021 and the goal is “to continue to amplify all that is good for democracy on social media and mitigate against that which is not, we need more objective, dispassionate, empirically grounded research” proclaimed Facebook.
