Joe Biden Falsely Claims He Taught Political Theory at University of Pennsylvania in Most Recent Lie

President Biden, despite never teaching a full semester-long course, lied during a speech at Maryland’s Prince George’s Community College that he used to “teach political theory” at the University of Pennsylvania.

Biden held an honorary position as the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Professor of the Practice at the University of Pennsylvania from February 2017 to April 2019, during the period between his vice presidency and his presidential campaign.

Biden’s role, in reality, did not involve teaching semester-long classes, conducting independent research, or administrative duties.

While Biden made several public appearances at the University of Pennsylvania, he did not teach regular courses.

These appearances included events like promoting his book “Promise Me, Dad” in November 2017, Q&A sessions with university administrators, a lecture to Wharton business school graduate students, and public events with former leaders like Mexican President Felipe Calderon and UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

During his time as an honorary professor, Biden received approximately $900,000 in income from the university.

Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock asked during a press conference about Biden’s lies, asking, “The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?”

The White House spokesman did not answer the question directly.
