Former President Donald Trump may have just solved his repeated problem of getting censored and booted from digital communication platforms: create his own. In perfect Trump form, the new platform is called “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” and can be accessed on www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.
Trump made the announcement himself in a video posted to the new platform Tuesday night. Fox News reports:
“In a time of silence and lies,” a video Trump posted to the platform Tuesday night says. The video then plays news reports describing his suspension from Twitter.
“A beacon of freedom arises. A place to speak freely and safely,” the video continues, showing the new platform. “Straight from the desk of Donald J. Trump.”
The technology appears to be powered by Campaign Nucleus— the “digital ecosystem made for efficiently managing political campaigns and organizations,” created by his former campaign manager, Brad Parscale.
The space allows Trump to post and allows followers to share the former president’s posts to Twitter and Facebook, however, the new platform does not have a feature to allow users to “reply” or engage with Trump’s posts.
“This is just a one-way communication,” one source familiar with the space told Fox News. “This system allows Trump to communicate with his followers.”
Not enough Trump? The site will also allow for people to put in phone numbers and email addresses in order to receive alerts for any and all posts made by Trump. Also, in prime Trump fashion, the announcement comes one day before Facebook’s Oversight Board is expected to make its own announcement as to whether or not Trump will be indefinitely suspended from Facebook and Instagram. Looks like they just got Trumped.

Charlie Kirk Speaks at CPAC 2021 and Takes Aim at Big Tech
Charlie Kirk took the stage at CPAC 2021 in Orlando Florida and started off by honoring one of the greats, Rush Limbaugh, even pointing out that he was wearing one of his early 90’s ties.
The big part of Kirk’s speech was about freedom of speech and the power of “big tech” asking the question, “which is more powerful, Google or the federal government?”
Kirk points out that most people would say the federal government has more power as they can create laws and put you in jail, but at least with them you have due process.
“What happens if Google decides to come after you” Kirk asks. He points out how Google can wipe away a person or information, instantaneously.
Kirk went on to ask the crowd, “What does it mean to be a conservative? First and foremost, we are here to conserve God given liberites and freedoms. We are here to protect the family, our country, the American way of life.”
“When a group of people in a concentrated area controlling trillion dollar companies decide to impose a viewpoint that is completely contrary to the American way of life and then we say, well we can’t do anything because they’re a private company, excuse me” Kirk states. He continues, ” As soon as you have 200 million users and 93 percent of all search results, you’re not the local flower shop or the local coffee shop, and you shouldn’t be treated as such, and we as conservatives must be very clear, if you do not support breaking up big tech, or challenging big tech you are not a conservative, you are a corporatist.”

Report: Biden Hires Big Tech Execs From Same Companies Censoring Conservatives
The same tech firms that are shutting down conservative voices at a rapid pace will play major roles in the Biden administration.
Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Google, and Twitter came together to censor or outright ban all things Trump and even took down the Parler app which is a direct competitor to Twitter. If history has taught us anything, the ones who do the censoring are not the good ones.
Around 14 current or former executives from five major tech firms will serve in the Biden administration or advise his transition team.
Apple’s top lobbyist was a chief adviser to the Biden transition team. A former Facebook executive will serve as staff director in the Biden White House, and a former Twitter executive will serve as chief spokesperson for the National Security Council under Biden.
Current and former executives at those firms and two others, Google and Amazon, fill out other positions in the incoming Biden administration, or his transition team.
The five tech giants all took action this week against Trump and Parler, the social media site, in response to riots at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
Apple and Google removed Parler from its app stores, meaning that users will not be able to access it on their iPhones or Samsung Galaxy phones.
Apple said on Friday that Parler had “not taken adequate measures to address the proliferation of these threats to people’s safety.” Google removed Parler from its app store on Thursday.
As if taking the Parler app off of the Apple and Google store wasn’t enough, Amazon took it even further by not allowing the Twitter competitor to host their site on AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers.
