White House Press Sec Claims Biden Does More In One Hour than Most Do In a Day

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre staunchly defended President Biden’s cognitive abilities, countering concerns raised during a press briefing regarding his age and mental acuity. When questioned about speaking with Biden’s doctor, Jean-Pierre shifted focus, criticizing Special Counsel Robert Hur and highlighting his role as a “Republican prosecutor,” asserting, “It’s not for him to speak to. It’s just not.”

In response to polling data indicating widespread doubt about Biden’s capacity to serve another term due to his age, Jean-Pierre reiterated Biden’s efficacy, citing First Lady Jill Biden’s affirmation that he “does more in one hour than most people do in a day.” This emphasis on Biden’s productivity underscored the administration’s attempt to portray him as a capable leader despite concerns.

Jean-Pierre further defended Biden against queries regarding his mental acuity, affirming that he remains “sharp” and “on top of things.” She emphasized Biden’s recent engagements and interactions with the press, characterizing his demeanor as “lightweight” and “funny” during such encounters, Fox News Digital reported.

Regarding calls for a cognitive test, Jean-Pierre referenced Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who reportedly deems such evaluations unnecessary. She reiterated O’Connor’s viewpoint, stating, “The president proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks, by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people.”
