Trump Slams Biden over Chronic Lying: 'It's Terrible'

In his first network news interview since leaving office, former President Donald Trump accused President Biden of repeatedly spreading complete falsehoods, emphasizing that these were not mere misstatements but outright lies.

Trump raised concerns about a series of recent false claims made by Biden, including a significant gaffe related to 9/11. Trump challenged the accuracy of Biden’s statements and questioned the president’s credibility.

One of the most notable instances cited by Trump was Biden’s false assertion that he was present at the World Trade Center on 9/11. Trump promptly pointed out photographic evidence showing his own visit to Ground Zero shortly after the terrorist attacks, disproving Biden’s claim.

“Look at all the lies he’s told over the past couple of weeks. He said he was at the World Trade Center, and he wasn’t,” Trump said. “He said he flew airplanes. He didn’t. He said he drove trucks, and he didn’t. Everything he says is like a lie. It’s terrible.”

Trump also contested Biden’s claim of having a golf handicap of six, a score that is remarkably impressive for a non-professional golfer. Trump firmly disagreed with this assertion, further fueling doubts about Biden’s credibility.

During the interview, NBC’s Kristen Welker, host of “Meet the Press,” attempted to shift the focus to Trump. However, Trump expressed his intent to address the issue of Biden’s repeated false claims.

The credibility of President Biden has come under even more intense scrutiny when he falsely claimed to have visited Ground Zero on the day following the 9/11 attacks during a remembrance event in Alaska.

National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby struggled to provide a convincing explanation when asked about Biden’s erroneous statement.

The White House has faced mounting difficulties in explaining Biden’s series of falsehoods, and questions have arisen regarding whether the president is intentionally spreading false information.

Recently, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy initiated an impeachment inquiry into Biden’s conduct, highlighting the seriousness of concerns about the president’s credibility.

Furthermore, a recent poll revealed that 61% of Americans believe Biden has lied about his involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings, intensifying doubts about the Biden administration.

In the interview with Welker, Trump took the opportunity to express his love for the country and voice concerns about the perceived unfairness he has encountered. He also addressed allegations related to Mar-a-Lago, criticizing the charges brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith as baseless.
