WATCH: Actor Jon Voight Stands Up for Trump, Rips Biden, Dems Over Intentionally Destructive Policies

Legendary actor Jon Voight blasted President Joe Biden and Democrats for essentially undoing all of what former President Donald Trump achieved during his four-year term.

In an interview with Newsmax TV’s Rob Schmitt, Voight said Democrats are purposely moving to undermine everything the former president accomplished, including low inflation, low energy prices, energy independence, and a secure border.

“We had President Trump take a look at the problems when he came into office, and he solved them one after the other because he’s a person that’s a doer and he’s a problem-solver,” he told Schmidt.

“And therefore you accomplished all those things. And now we have another person in office, and they’re systematically just eliminating all of the progress that he made, right? That’s their agenda,” Voight continued.

“This is a tremendous place, California. It’s the fifth-largest economy in the world. We should be taking care of it. And to see it being destroyed in this way…” the legendary actor said, adding that California residents are streaming out of the Golden State for places where the cost of living is much less, and the regulatory environment is far less restrictive.

“People are leaving in droves. And somebody’s going to come to the rescue here. They don’t know what right and wrong is. It seems like something simple like that, you know. So, they [California authorities] pass on people who are dangerous to the community, and we’ve seen lots of unfortunate things happen,” Voight added.

“A lot of people have been victimized by so many people, and then they put them back on the streets too,” he said, before making a truly stunning claim.

“There are lots of people who are conservative in Hollywood. They just don’t get any recognition. They don’t get talked to, and they certainly don’t speak up for fear of being canceled,” he noted.

“And I understand that, especially from the younger actors who quietly come to me all the time and go, ‘Hey man, I love what you have to say, and I agree with you 100%. I just can’t say anything because I want to work,’” said Voight.

Voters say, by far, that inflation and the economy are the two top issued for them heading into next month’s midterm elections, but Biden’s press flak, Karine Jean-Pierre, had no real answers to questions about what the president is doing about it during a press briefing on Monday at the White House.

“Following up on something you said earlier, if President Biden’s top domestic priority is inflation, why doesn’t he have more to show for it?” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked.

“So, the president understands, and we’ve talked about this many times, that inflation is an issue … high cost … cost is an issue for the American people, and so he’s been very clear about making that his number one economic priority. And he has done the work,” Jean-Pierre claimed.

She then pivoted to praise for the Inflation Reduction Act, saying that it was “going to lower costs” for senior citizens while attacking Republicans who did not vote for the legislation — because it raised spending at a time when doing so would only worsen inflation, according to many economists.

“But who exactly thinks the president is doing a good job on inflation? Because we’ve got a poll that finds he receives his lowest job ratings on inflation, net negative 38 points.”

“We understand that there are challenges that are in front of us here in this country, that is why the president has taken action to lower costs,” Jean-Pierre argued, going on to mention the price of gas as one example, though in recent days, prices have been rising again around the country.
