A woman was pulled over by an officer of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for using her cell phone while driving, which is illegal in California. Immediately upon approaching the vehicle the woman was recording the officer with her cell phone saying she was only using her phone to record him because, as she repeatedly claimed, he is a ‘murderer.’

In the footage, the officer can be seen approaching the driver’s window as the woman, who is blurred, begins recording the encounter. “I pulled you over because…” the officer begins before the woman cuts him off: “Because you’re a murderer.”
“Yes, I started to record because you’re a murderer,” she adds, alleging the officer is threatening her and her son.
The video first caught attention when Bill Melugin of Fox LA tweeted the video with the caption: “NEW: ‘You’re always gonna be a Mexican, you’ll never be white, you know that?’ A Latino LASD deputy sent me his bodycam video of a woman claiming to be a teacher launching into a racist tirade against him when he pulled her over in San Dimas.
