A U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs attorney, Shekeba Morrad, is under investigation for posting a video mocking Israelis pleading for the return of hostages taken by Hamas-led terrorists. In the video, Morrad adopts a sarcastic tone, saying, “We just want our hostages back. Give us our 200 hostages,” Fox News Digital reports.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is aware of the incident, is investigating, and has stated that there is no place for anti-Semitism or any expression of bigotry or hatred at the VA. Morrad, an appellate attorney, is an employee of the VA.
The video has sparked outrage, with Senator Thom Tillis calling for Morrad’s immediate removal, stating that anti-Semitism has no place at the VA.
“We are aware of this incident, are investigating the matter, and will take any appropriate action,” a spokesperson wrote. “There is no place at VA for anti-Semitism or any expression of bigotry or hatred.”
