Former President Donald Trump took to his new website to hype a newly-released CBS News Poll. Trump wrote:

“Breaking News! New polling by CBS News on the state of the Republican Party (which is very strong!). ‘President Trump has a stronghold on the GOP,’ 80% of Republicans agree with the removal of Liz Cheney from GOP Leadership and only 20% disagree.

The poll also showed that 67% of Republicans said that they do not consider Sleepy Joe Biden to be the legitimate winner of the 2020 Presidential Election. I agree with them 100%, just look at the facts and the data – there is no way he won the 2020 Presidential Election!”

Trump wrote the post late Sunday evening. The same CBS News poll suggested that 53% of Republicans believe the GOP strategy for winning elections is to prioritize “Message: Get more voters with policies & ideas” while coming in second place with 47% was “Rules: Push for changes to state voting rules.”

Another pro-Trump message that came from the poll related to what the “GOP Should follow Trump’s example on.” Amongst Republicans 89% said economic issues, 88% said immigration issues, 80% said leadership and 77% said how to treat the media.

Also amongst Republicans, 66% say being loyal to Trump is “Important” while only 33% say it’s “not important.”
