Trump Provides Water and McDonald's Meals to Those in Need in East Palestine

Former President Donald Trump Provided the residents of the disaster-stricken East Palestine, Ohio and its surrounding communities with thousands of bottles of water during his visit on Wednesday, which Trump said were transported in trucks and on his personal plane.

“I do want to, especially thank some of the incredible people that helped us because we’re bringing thousands of bottles of water. Trump water, most of it. Some of it we had to go to a much lesser quality water,” Trump joked. “You want to get those Trump bottles… We’re bringing thousands of bottles. We have it in trucks and we brought some on my plane today.”

“I’m pleased to announce that we’ve helped coordinate the delivery of water and bottled water as well as tractor trailers… full of water, I think you’ll have plenty of water for a long time, maybe.”

“I want to thank the people within the Trump organization that helped us with all of the water we gathered from all over our different hotels and different places… They really came together,” he said.

Trump would also go to a nearby McDonald’s restaurant where he ordered Big Macs for emergency crew members and his team. He also gave out signed MAGA hats to those in attendance.

“I know this menu better than you do. I probably know it better than anybody in here,” Trump told the cashier at Trump.

Residents of the small community greeted the former president to large applause, along with signs that read “NO MO JOE,” a clear reference to President Biden. Some residents told the DailyMail that a visit from Biden or Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg would be “largely useless” at this point.

“It’s a little too late,” said resident William Hugar, 56, to the Mail. “Like, he can come, but for what?” Buttigieg has since said that not speaking out sooner on the disaster was a “lesson learned.”
