Trump Preferred Over Biden On Growing Number of Issues: Survey

As the November elections draw nearer, it seems that former President Donald Trump is gaining momentum against President Joe Biden on various crucial issues confronting the nation.

In a recent ABC/IPSOS poll, participants were tasked with indicating their preference between Trump and Biden in terms of who they believed would effectively address a variety of critical issues in the nation, such as crime, immigration, the economy, guns, and others.

Overall, there appears to be a higher level of trust among Americans in Trump’s capability to tackle significant issues compared to Biden. For instance, according to the survey, 43 percent express confidence in Trump’s ability to handle the economy, while only 31 percent share the same sentiment about Biden, giving Trump a +12 advantage.

Forty-one percent of respondents indicated they have greater confidence in Trump’s capability to address the issue of crime in the country, while only 28 percent expressed similar confidence in Biden. Moreover, Trump maintains a ten-point lead in handling inflation, an 18-point lead in managing immigration, a one-point lead in addressing gun violence, and a three-point lead in dealing with matters concerning Ukraine and Russia. Also, Trump has an eight-point advantage on Israel and Hamas.

Breitbart News, citing the survey’s results, added:

Biden appears to have the edge on issues traditionally more important to leftists. For instance, he has a 17-point advantage on climate change and a nine-point advantage on abortion; Biden also leads by ten points on healthcare, seven points on education, and ten points on classified documents. The classified documents trust is ironic, given the bombshell report from Special Counsel Robert Hur, who essentially said Biden is too mentally incompetent to prosecute for his classified documents scandal, pointing to several instances of Biden having an extremely poor memory.

Biden’s age has emerged as one of his primary disadvantages, with numerous polls indicating that a majority of Americans, including a substantial portion of Democrats, see him as too old to serve another four-year term.
