Trump Dishes Details About Melania's Life After The White House in New Interview

Former President Donald Trump sat down this week with SiriusXM podcaster and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly for a wide-ranging interview that included him spilling new details about former first lady Melania Trump’s life after the White House.

“She’s doing very well,” he responded when Kelly asked him about his wife. “She’s very strong, very even-keeled, and she’s a very good woman, as you know.”

“She was a very popular first lady,” he added. “I mean, I’d go out to rallies, and they have pictures of Melania with ‘We love our first lady,’ Trump added of posters seen in the audience at his rallies.

“Melania’s so mysterious to so many,” Kelly asked. “What do people misunderstand about her?”

“I think part of the beauty is that mystery,” Trump said, alluding to an interview with legendary journalist Barbara Walters years ago, when she revealed that she most wanted to interview reclusive actress Greta Garbo, whom Trump compared Melania to.

“She was a great actress… she had a great beauty, but she was very reclusive, never did an interview,” the former president said. “I don’t see Melania as like that, but she is much more… you know she’s introspective, and she’s confident,” adding that she doesn’t need to be interviewed “to be ripped apart for no reason. She doesn’t need to be out there. She’s got confidence, she’s got a lot of self-confidence.”

“The people really like her,” he added. “And she was a really good first lady,” noting the “beautiful job” that she did with the White House Rose Garden. “She rebuilt the Rose Garden, it was beautiful,” adding that she “did Christmas trees too, every Christmas, did the most beautiful job,” he said, as he and Kelly reminisced about how the legacy media roundly criticized nearly everything she did.

Trump and Kelly also talked about how Melania was slighted for the cover of Vogue magazine — though she used to be a professional model — as the fashion mag just featured the very unglamorous White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

“It’s so sad, but she doesn’t care. She’s been on the cover of the magazines for a long time, and she was on the cover of Vogue before,” Trump said.

In April, Kelly criticized the media for its coverage of Stormy Daniels, an adult film star, following the indictment of former President Donald Trump by a Manhattan court.

During the show, Kelly also pointed out that former first lady Melania Trump, who had a successful career as a professional model, was never featured in any women’s magazines during her time in the White House or afterwards, which is a fact that many Americans may have forgotten.

“Aren’t you the one who had an affair with a married man after a lifetime starring in flicks like Summer Hummer and then tried to extort the man before he ran for president 10 years after your alleged interlude. Piers interviewed her, but the left is celebrating this woman like she’s Joan of Arc,” Kelly noted to her guests, Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook, hosts of the Ruthless Podcast. “I mean — like ‘Her bravery.’

“Melania Trump never got in Vogue — had been a supermodel prior to her time as First Lady, she never got featured by Vogue. But Stormy Daniels is in there as though this woman hasn’t spent a lifetime contributing to the degradation of women,” Kelly added.
