Soros-Funded Army of Pro-Biden Influencers Flood Chinese-Communist-Owned App

Billionaire Democratic donor George Soros is backing a group of Gen-Z TikTokers to promote his left-wing causes, express support for President Joe Biden, and criticize conservatives, according to a review of public documents and social media by The New York Post.

Soros’ Open Society Foundation provided $5.5 million to the nonprofit Accelerate Action Inc. in 2020 and 2021. This nonprofit, in turn, donated at least $300,000 in 2022 to another nonprofit called Gen Z for Change, which claims to have a network of 500 “activists, organizers, and creators,” based on tax filings.

The Gen Z for Change activists actively advocate for abolishing border enforcement, defunding the police, and ending cash bail, as stated on their website.

Aidan Kohn-Murphy, the founder of Gen Z for Change, declared, “We are unequivocally supportive of Medicare for all, the Green New Deal, Palestinian liberation, [and] a plethora of progressive policies that a vast majority of Gen Z supports,” in a message to his 288,000 TikTok followers.

Kohn-Murphy has also established partnerships with the White House and the Democratic National Committee, according to information from his speakers bureau.

Victoria Hammett, the group’s deputy executive director, often speaks out on women’s issues and reproductive rights. She stated to her 819,000 followers, “Abortion after six weeks will be banned in Iowa once the governor signs the ban.”

Critics are concerned about Soros’ support for these Gen Z activists. Rep. Elise Stefanik stated, “George Soros is funding the next generation of far-left activists on a platform that is beholden to the [Chinese Communist Party].”

Approximately two-thirds of Accelerate Action’s $8.3 million in funding for 2020 and 2021 came from Soros.

The Open Society Foundations spokesperson explained, “We believe that more, rather than fewer, voters, including among younger and historically marginalized communities, should be empowered to participate in America’s democracy through free and fair elections. We’re proud to support organizations working with new technologies to spur civic participation and help enable more inclusive, just, and open societies.”

Neither Stayton, Hammett, nor Accelerate Action provided comments when approached by The Post.
