Influential Radio Pioneer Rush Limbaugh, Passes Away at 70
As the country mourns the loss of talk-radio giant, Rush Limbaugh, we here at CharlieKirk.com remember the incredible moment he described meeting Charlie for the first time.
In 2018, Limbaugh described how Kirk was in town for his Turning Point USA conference where thousands of student activist come to participate. They met at a golf course where Rush was playing and were able to talk for about a half hour in which Kirk paid him many compliments and told him that he grew up in a home where his program was on all the time. Limbaugh said Kirk was “very wise, his family is very wise” which made Charlie laugh.
“He just carries the personality, the charisma”, Limbaugh stated of Kirk. The conservative legend said he believed Charlie is someone that will be big in politics as he got older.
Limbaugh talked about stories he heard over the years from people that knew Bill Clinton in college, saying they had a feeling that he would become president one day and that he’s hearing the same kinds of stories about Charlie Kirk.
