Report: FBI Agents Told To ‘Find A Crime’ Supportive Of Biden’s Claims Of GOP ‘Extremism’

New evidence has emerged suggesting that the FBI is being weaponized by the Biden administration against political opponents.

As reported by The Washington Times, more whistleblowers have come forth to alert the public that the administration is pressuring the bureau to ‘find’ — as in fabricate — instances of “domestic terrorism” and Republican-fed “extremism” in order to fit President Joe Biden’s increasingly strident rhetoric against at least half the country.

The outlet noted:

Current and former FBI agents told The Washington Times that the perceived White supremacist threat is overblown by the administration. They said top bureau officials are pressuring FBI agents to create domestic terrorist cases and tag people as White supremacists to meet internal metrics.

“The demand for white supremacy” coming from FBI headquarters “vastly outstrips the supply of white supremacy,” one agent, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said. “We have more people assigned to investigate white supremacists than we can actually find.”

The new revelations by anonymous agents come as Biden wrapped up a misnamed “United We Stand” summit at the White House which follows the regime’s efforts to demonize supporters of former President Donald Trump as “MAGA Republicans” representing a threat to the nation’s stability. The summit also follows the creation of a new special unit within the Justice Department to “combat domestic extremism,” the Times reported.

The agent said that political insiders driving the FBI’s policies “have already determined that white supremacy is a problem” and as such have begun implementing policies to make such ‘cases’ priorities for the bureau.

“We are sort of the lapdogs as the actual agents doing these sorts of investigations, trying to find a crime to fit otherwise First Amendment-protected activities,” the agent told the Times. “If they have a Gadsden flag and they own guns and they are mean at school board meetings, that’s probably a domestic terrorist.”

The outlet noted that the FBI denies it is targeting Americans for their political beliefs, saying the bureau is focused instead on those “who commit or intend to commit violence and criminal activity that constitutes a federal crime or poses a threat to national security.”

“The FBI aggressively investigates threats posed by domestic violent extremists,” an FBI spokesperson said. “We do not investigate ideology, and we do not investigate particular cases based on the political views of the individuals involved. The FBI will continue to pursue threats or acts of violence, regardless of the underlying motivation or sociopolitical goal.”

The Times’ latest revelations dovetail with claims made by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee. He and other Republicans have said repeatedly in recent weeks that a growing number of FBI whistleblowers are alerting them to hyper-politicization of the bureau at the highest levels against opponents of Democrats and the Biden White House.

“I think [it is] what’s ultimately driving his politics,” Jordan said, noting that more than a dozen agents have contacted his office, according to the Times. “If you own a gun, display the flag and voted for Trump, the president’s going to call you an extremist, and it appears the FBI is going to use the numbers to satisfy that narrative that the president laid out.”
