The identity of the alleged Boulder, Colorado grocery store shooter, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa was previously on the FBI’s radar, according to a New York Times report.

According to the report, his identity was known because he was connected to another person who was under investigation by the FBI. Law enforcement is still determining a motive for the senseless killings.

On Monday, Alissa entered King Soopers grocery store in Boulder and shot and killed ten people. The victims include a 51-year-old police officer father of seven who responded to the scene. He has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder.

It has also been reported that Alissa holds ISIS sympathies and anti-Trump sentiments. 

Yesterday, OANN reporter Jack Posobiec wrote on Twitter, “BREAKING: Biden has been briefed the Colorado shooter had ISIS sympathies, per WH official.”

The Post Millennial also obtained screenshots of Al-Issa’s social media posts which the website states show that “Al-Issa was a practicing Muslim, aruging against Islamaphobia and for increased acceptance of refugees. Al-Issa also shared anti-Trump content.”

A Facebook spokesperson told ABC 7 Denver that it scrubbed Alissa’s social media accounts

“Yesterday, we designated the shooting as a mass shooting under our Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy, which means we will continue to remove content that praises, supports or represents the shooting or the identified suspect. In line with this policy, we have removed accounts for the identified suspect from Facebook and Instagram,” said the spokesperson.
