Poll: Majority of Americans Concerned About Joe and Hunter Biden’s Shady Business Dealings

As President Joe Biden grapples with various challenges on the domestic and international fronts with extremely limited success, a new AP-NORC poll reveals another concern looming on the horizon: his handling of his son Hunter’s business dealings.

This controversial issue has sparked a wave of skepticism among the American public.

The AP-NORC poll, conducted between October 5-9, sampled the opinions of 1,163 adults nationwide. The results paint a clear picture: a resounding 68% of Americans take issue with the President’s actions concerning his son’s business dealings.

Breaking down these numbers further, only 30% of respondents believe that President Biden has “not done anything wrong.”

The remaining 68% hold the view that he has acted either illegally or unethically in handling his son’s business matters. 35% of the respondents indicated they felt the President had done something illegal, while 33% believed he acted unethically.

Notably, 40% of Democrats believe that President Biden may have acted illegally or unethically regarding his son’s business matters. This showcases that concerns over this issue transcend party lines.

However, a larger portion of Democrats, 58%, believe that the President has done nothing wrong in this regard.

In response to the concerns about President Biden’s actions, the Republican party initiated an impeachment inquiry. However, the poll highlights that only 33% of Americans approve of this impeachment inquiry.

Moreover, it’s essential to note that a significant segment of the American population has limited awareness of the impeachment inquiry.

Only 54% of respondents indicated that they are familiar with the current process. This suggests that the inquiry is not yet a widely recognized issue among the American public, which could change in the future as more information becomes available.

The poll also looked into public trust in political parties when it comes to addressing government corruption. A striking finding is that 38% of respondents expressed a lack of trust in both major parties to address this issue effectively.
