NY Times: Biden Aides Instructed to Ignore Hunter's Estranged Daughter

White House aides have been ordered to ignore President Joe Biden’s seventh grandchild, a daughter fathered by son Hunter Biden out of wedlock with a former DC-area stripper, according to a telling report by The New York Times.

In a comprehensive report for the New York Times, Hunter Biden’s former lover, Lunden Roberts, was profiled, detailing her efforts to reach a child support settlement for their daughter, Navy Joan. The report added that their daughter would not be adopting the Biden surname, as Hunter’s legal team requested.

The Times also said the child would receive some of Hunter’s paintings as part of the settlement, and while some of those paintings have gone for as much as $500,000, it’s not reasonable to believe that someone would pay Roberts that much because she has no political influence to sell.

“The Biden White House has routinely ignored the president’s granddaughter by saying he has six grandchildren instead of seven. The New York Times confirmed that the president’s aides were specifically instructed to ignore his seventh grandchild,” Breitbart News reported.

The outlet added:

His public image is centered around his devotion to his family — including to Hunter, his only surviving son. In strategy meetings in recent years, aides have been told that the Bidens have six, not seven, grandchildren, according to two people familiar with the discussions.

The White House did not respond to questions about the case, in keeping with how officials have answered questions about the Biden family before.

In April, Biden listed six of the grandchildren by name during a “take your child to work day” event at the White House.

He said at the time: “I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke.”

Fox News added: “Biden has also put up Christmas stockings at the White House for six of the grandchildren, but has repeatedly left his seventh grandchild out of the annual tradition. But as Biden seeks re-election in 2024 and as the speculation into Hunter’s foreign business dealings ramps up, the president has decided to more publicly embrace his son, Hunter, and grandson, Beau, bringing them to Camp David for the last two weekends in a row.”

The disclosure sparked significant backlash on social media, with conservatives alleging that the president prioritized political interests over his granddaughter. The New York Times went as far as acknowledging that the president’s handling of the situation regarding his granddaughter could potentially impact his vote count in the 2024 elections.

“The strength of his political persona, which emphasizes decency, family and duty, was enough to defeat Mr. Trump the first time around, and he would need to keep it intact if Mr. Trump is the Republican nominee in 2024,” it said.

Chad Gilmartin, a deputy spokesman for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), noted on Twitter: “Joe Biden ‘has not yet met or publicly mentioned his other grandchild. His White House has not answered questions about whether he will publicly acknowledge her’ ‘[A]ides have been told that the Bidens have six, not seven, grandchildren’ So sad.”

Jake Schneider with RNC Research added, “Joe Biden and Jill, Ed.D., are two of the scummiest people to have ever disgraced American politics. Just awful human beings.

Duke University Prof. Timur Kuran noted as well: “Set aside politics and put yourself in the shoes of this 4-year-old. ‘She’s aware that her father is Hunter Biden and that her paternal grandfather is US president. She speaks about both often, but she has not met them.’ No one should do this to a child.”

“These people are monsters,” remarked CNN commentator and former George W. Bush administration official Scott Jennings.
