Sounds like Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul needs a lesson in civility.
For some reason, after signing a package of bills aimed at ensuring New York becomes a safe haven for killing unborn babies, the Democratic governor felt the need to call pro-life Americans “Neanderthals.”
Hochul on Monday signed legislation to boost abortion “rights” and “empower” abortion providers in the Empire State. She added: “This is the United States of America, where freedom and liberty are supposed to mean something.
“It’s the rock upon which we were founded. It is supposed to mean something. Except in the eyes of some Neanderthals who say women are not entitled to those rights,” she added.
Her gaslighting comes as more than 20 pro-life centers including one in Buffalo called CompassCare was firebombed; windows were broken, the structure’s medical office was set ablaze, and the vandals added graffiti that said “Jane Was Here,” a phrase used by a pro-abortion group called Jane’s Revenge, The Daily Wire reported.
“They broke glass in the middle of the night, under the cover of darkness, to keep us from doing the work of the Lord, from being the light of the world,” CompassCare CEO Jim Harden said following the attack. “And we’re not gonna stop.”

Unfortunately, CompassCare is not the only pro-life center to be targeted by extremists. According to Catholic Vote, more than 20 pregnancy resource centers and offices of pro-life groups have been attacked or vandalized since a leak of a draft opinion regarding Roe v. Wade in May.
The Daily Wire learned last week that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is “investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country.”
“The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities,” the bureau told The Daily Wire.
“We would like to remind members of the public that if they observe anything suspicious or have information about potential threats to report it to law enforcement immediately, call their local FBI field office, or submit a tip to tips.fbi.gov,” a bureau spokesperson continued.
In a statement sent to the outlet, Harden blasted the gaslighting Hochul while also accusing her of refusing to protect pro-life New Yorkers.
“Refusal to equally enforce the law on behalf of those whose ideology differs from that of the political elite, turns people like pro-lifers into second-class citizens,” he said. “Either all of us are equal under the law, without qualification, including preborn boys and girls, or equality is just a word politicians use to manipulate the masses.”
That Democrats have chosen to protect the ability to kill unborn babies as their hill to die on says everything about the kind of party they belong to and what it has become.
Humans, meanwhile, are the only species with a modicum of ‘intelligence’ that voluntarily kill their unborn offspring. What an ‘advancement.’
