Megyn Kelly Says New George Floyd Documentary Will Completely Change How You Think About The Case

SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly joined Liz Collin and JC Chaix, producer and director of “The Fall of Minneapolis,” their new documentary on the case involving George Floyd, during a show segment on Wednesday, telling her audience that they will never look at it the same way because it was “built on lies.”

“It’s not just Derek Chauvin and the three other officers who wound up being taken down as a result of this narrative. We’re all living this,” Kelly noted.

“This case directly led to the increase in crime in major American cities coast to coast. The loss of lives not just a police, but of the black community and disproportionate numbers as police pulled back, quit, retired early,” she continued. “Not to mention the explosion of the pre-existing…[Diversity, Equity, Inclusion] programs in every part of our lives. Whether it’s K-12 education, corporate America, or sports fields. It’s everywhere, and it’s built on a lie. It’s built on a lie. Many lies,” she said.

“I was sitting on my couch when the George Floyd thing happened, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. It was post-NBC. I didn’t want to go back to the mainstream media. That had been a terrible experience,” Kelly continued.

“And I wasn’t sure whether I would get off the couch at all frankly, obviously this business is disgusting and toxic in many ways and I just thought I’d maybe I’ll just sit here with my family and do something else,” she added. “And it was this case and the reaction to it and what was happening to cops – and I have one as a brother – that made me get off the couch.

“I could just see the lies being told… I thought, I have to get out there I’ve got to set the record straight. This is deeply wrong what’s happening. But boy, I had no idea. And now I do,” she admitted, going on to describe who Floyd really was.

“It was like a playbook. You can see this is a frequent flyer. He’s very used to dealing with the cops. And while to the untrained civilian watching this, he’s crying, he’s a grown man saying ‘please, please,’ it’s natural for you to be like, ‘Oh, poor guy,’ look what’s happening – and especially when you’re watching it, knowing what would ultimately happen to his day,” Kelly said.

“But really, you have to understand it’s a huge manipulation what you’re watching. It’s George Floyd trying to manipulate the cops because he wasn’t shot the last time. His mom did not just die. He’s even like, ‘I just had COVID,'” she said.

“He’s trying to play every card of the book to generate some sympathy for the police who are trying to arrest him for having passed fake cash inside the store moments earlier.”
