A new children’s book about the director of U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to be released on June 29.

The book, titled, “Dr. Fauci: How a Boy from Brooklyn Became America’s Doctor” is being published by Simon & Schuster and recommended for children ages 4 to 8.

The book blurb states, “His father and immigrant grandfather taught Anthony to ask questions. Consider all the data, and never give up – and Anthony’s ability to stay curious and to communicate with people would serve him his entire life.”

The author, Kate Messner, said her goal in writing the book was to inspire other children to be like Dr. Fauci.

Messner told CNN, “Before Tony Fauci was America’s doctor, he was a kid with a million questions, about everything from the tropical fish in his bedroom to the things he was taught in Sunday school. I’m really hopeful that curious kids who read this book – those we’re counting on to solve tomorrow’s scientific challenges – will see themselves in the pages of Dr Fauci’s story and set their goals just as high.”
