Fox News host Jesse Watters used a segment of his Monday program to further expose the left’s empty agenda heading into the 2024 elections, which involves continual fabrications of what former President Donald Trump says versus full-throated defenses of President Joe Biden’s record in office.
Specifically, Watters pushed back on the Biden campaign’s claim that Trump wants to “pick when elections are held.”
“When you new hoax alert, as we said, that’s all the left has so ‘Primetime’ will be exposing each hoax when they come in,” he began. “And this week’s repeat offender is the Biden campaign. It started with this post on the official Twitter account Saturday night, clipping just 20 seconds of Trump’s hour-long rally in a PA with this caption, ‘Trump wants to be able to override Constitution to pick when elections are held,'” Watters said, before playing the clip in context:
You look at this crowd would you can see the end of it, but you look at this crowd and in all fairness, we are six and half months away. That is a long time. Most of these candidates on the night before the election would have a crowd that would be their largest crowd and they would not have anybody near to the people we have now, we’re six and half months away. I wish we could move the election to Tuesday, is there anything we can do? I want to move the election to Tuesday.
You know in the UK, they can pick their election, they say we’re going to have the election next week. I want to be able to do that, would that be possible?
“So there it is. The ‘move the election’ hoax, add it to the list. For those of you counting at home, the dictator on day one hoax, the bloodbath hoax, the animal hoax, and you can forget about the abortion ban hoax, this is how dumb they think you are. All they have are lawsuits and hoaxes,” Watters added.
