Jerry Seinfeld Confronted in NYC by Pro-Palestine Protesters Over Israel Support

In New York City, comedian Jerry Seinfeld encountered a barrage of angry protesters as he departed an event alongside Free Press founder Bari Weiss.

The demonstrators hurled profanities at Seinfeld, accusing him of supporting genocide and branding him as “Nazi scum.” Video footage captured the intense confrontation, highlighting the heated exchange between Seinfeld and the protesters, Fox reports.

The protest unfolded outside a community center where Weiss was delivering the 92Y’s annual State of the World Jewry address.

Weiss, known for her unwavering backing of Israel, became a focal point for the demonstrators’ ire. They sought to draw a connection between Weiss and the death of a Palestinian professor who perished in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza the previous December. The protest took aim not only at Seinfeld but also at Weiss.

This isn’t the first time Seinfeld has found himself at the center of such protests. In December, during a stand-up show in Syracuse, protesters accused Seinfeld of complicity in genocide due to his support for Israel.

They demanded a cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hamas and called for an end to U.S. aid to Israel. Additionally, they condemned a resolution passed by House lawmakers that categorized anti-Zionism as antisemitism.
