Hunter Biden's Firearms Indictment Already Ripped As All For Show

First son Hunter Biden was indicted on Thursday on a gun charge, but it’s already being torn to shreds by critics who predict it won’t go anywhere with his father’s politicized Justice Department.

Biden “was charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by federal firearms licensed dealer,” Breitbart News reported.

The first son was indicted by special counsel David Weiss, the same U.S. attorney who earlier signed off on a sweetheart deal for Hunter that would have seen him pay a fine for a failing to pay taxes on millions in income and would have kicked the gun charge down the road to a point where it would have eventually gone away. A federal judge appointed by then-President Donald Trump, U.S. Judge Maryellen Noreika, caught wind of the crazy deal at the last minute, however, and the plea fell apart.

ABC News added: “Thursday’s charge is unlikely to be the last. Weiss also withdrew the two misdemeanor tax charges in Delaware with the intention of bringing them in California and Washington, D.C. — the venues where the alleged misconduct occurred. Prosecutors have not offered a timeline for those charges.”

Critics of the indictment, however, say it’s not going to go anywhere ultimately, despite the fact that Hunter Biden’s charges bring serious prison time. Also, some noted that Hunter was indicted on the gun charge because it has no connection at all to President Joe Biden, unlike other potential charges.

“They’re allowing the firearm charge on Hunter Biden to proceed because it’s the only thing that doesn’t implicate daddy Joe. Don’t expect the same penalty applied to Hunter,” conservative broadcaster Dana Loesch noted on the X platform.

“As important a Hunter Biden indictment may appear to be on the gun charge – where is the indictment for him acting as an unregistered foreign lobbyist? And for the unpaid taxes on the millions he took in? And the money trail investigation?” added Bo Snerdley, the late Rush Limbaugh’s longtime producer and call screener.

Conservative pundit Chad Prather noted: “Hunter has been indicted on literally the ONLY charge that can’t be linked back to Joe. What a joke.”

“What about Hunter’s unregistered foreign lobbying? What about the money laundering, with Hunter passing on half of his massive oligarch payoffs directly to his dad? What about his human trafficking of prostitutes across state lines?” Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk posed on X.

“Where are the indictments for tax fraud, FARA abuse, money laundering, and sex trafficking???” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) asked.
