Hillary Clinton Heckled By Protesters Outside Biden Fundraiser on Broadway

Former first lady and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced pro-Palestinian demonstrators outside a fundraiser for President Biden on Wednesday.

As Clinton left the event, protestors shouted at her, with one accusing her of being “responsible for atrocities” in Palestine. Another protestor labeled former President Bill Clinton as a “genocide supporter.”

Clinton and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, co-hosted the fundraiser at a preview of the play “Suffs,” which she is producing. Former President Bill Clinton also attended, offering praise to cast member Grace McLean backstage.

A source revealed that Clinton has been actively involved in the play’s production, attending rehearsals and engaging with the cast. Describing her enthusiasm, the source said, “She was at the very first rehearsal. She speaks to the cast. She’s loving the process.”

Hillary showed emotional engagement during the first rehearsal with the cast and orchestra performing together a few weeks ago.

The music for “Suffs” was composed by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub, whom Miranda hailed as “the future of musical theater.” Taub stars as activist Alice Paul in the play, which tells the story of women in the suffragist movement advocating for the 19th Amendment.

Taub approached Hillary at an off-Broadway performance of the show, and Clinton readily agreed to produce the production.

“Suffs” is set to debut at the Music Box Theater on April 18
