'He's Going to Get Convicted' - Megyn Kelly Drops Bad News About Trump's Future

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly has some tough news for former President Donald Trump.

Kelly was interviewed by Dan Abrams on NewsNation when she said she believes Trump will be convicted in the Manhattan case brought by Alvin Bragg.

“Oh, he’s getting convicted. I don’t really think there’s a lot of mystery about that. He shouldn’t, but he’s going to get convicted. The jury’s going to hate him. Manhattan went 92%, between 87 and 92% for Joe Biden. That’s where this is going to be tried. These are not Trump lovers,” she said to the host.

“You don’t actually believe Trump didn’t have an affair with Stormy Daniels as he says, right?” Abrams said.

“No, I believe there was an interlude. I don’t know, ‘affair’ may be too strong.,” the former Fox News host said.

“Look, I think the jury’s going to believe that he paid off a porn star before the election to make her go away and that he didn’t write down in his books, ‘Hush money to Stormy Daniels,’ because no one in the history of hush money payments has ever written that in any book anywhere. It defeats the whole purpose of a hush money payment,” she said.

“So I grant you, yeah, they’re probably going to convict him. They’re going to convict him pretty easily, I think,” she said.

Former anti-Trump attorney and convicted felon Michael Avenatti agreed, when he spoke to MSNBC host Ari Melber that the former president could not get a fair trial in Manhattan.

“Michael, have you been in touch with D.A. Bragg’s office?” the host said. “And what specifically in evidence or logic do you think is wrong with this case?”

“I’m going to decline to answer as to whether I’ve been in touch with either the defense or the D.A.s office,” the attorney said. “But let me say this in response to the second part of your question. You know, I think the case has a lot of problems. Now that– I don’t mean to suggest that means that Trump will not be convicted because I think he will be convicted because number one, he’s a criminal defendant in our society. I don’t believe criminal defendants generally get a fair shake.”

“I don’t think that he can get a fair trial in New York. And to the people who claim that, in fact, he can get a fair trial in New York with a New York jury, I would ask them if they were to go to sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow and find out that the case had been moved to Mississippi or Alabama, would they still think the trial was going to be fair? And I think if they were being honest, they would answer no. So, I don’t think he can get a fair trial in New York,” he said.
