Heroic Israeli Woman Kills Invading Terrorists and Saves Community Amid Hamas Invasion

Inbar Lieberman, a heroic Israeli woman, is being celebrated for her courageous actions in defending the community of Nir Am from a deadly Hamas attack.

Situated just a mile from the Gaza Strip, Nir Am came under siege as infiltrating terrorists began to invade, Daily Mail reports.

Lieberman, who had been part of the region’s security team since December 2022, immediately sprang into action when she heard explosions early on Saturday, signaling an unusual and deadly attack on Israel. Recognizing that the situation was different from the typical rocket attacks, she quickly accessed the armory and distributed weapons to her 12-member security team.

The 25-year-old strategically positioned her team members throughout the kibbutz, set up ambushes, and turned the tide against the incoming terrorists. During the four-hour ordeal, she personally eliminated five terrorists, while her fellow defenders took down 20 more. Nir Am, under Lieberman’s leadership, became an impregnable fortress, with the nearby kibbutzim suffering more substantial losses.

Ilit Paz, a resident of Nir Am, praised Lieberman’s proactive response: “Inbal made a decision not to wait and be jumped operationally. In fact, the fact that they did it early prevented dozens of casualties.”

The remarkable heroism displayed by Lieberman has garnered widespread recognition and support on social media and across the globe. One post suggested that she should receive the prestigious Israel Prize for her courage and leadership in the face of a deadly attack.

Nir Am is among the few communities successfully defended against the Hamas terrorists who attempted to infiltrate. In a nearby moshav called Ein Habsor, local defenders also managed to fend off a larger group of armed terrorists.

Israel, in response to continued security threats by Hamas terrorists, recently announced the completion of an advanced security barrier around the Gaza Strip. This 40-mile-long barrier is equipped with radar systems, maritime sensors, and a network of underground sensors to detect militant tunnels. Existing fencing was replaced with a “smart fence” featuring sensors and cameras, further enhancing security in the region.

Hamas has engaged in conflicts with Israel, including four wars, since the group took control of Gaza nearly 15 years ago.
