VP Harris Skips Security Discussions in Mexico, But Does Create YouTube Video About Space with Child ACTORS

Vice President Kamala Harris, who was tasked by President Biden himself to handle the immigration and border crisis, did not go to Mexico City Friday with other members of the administration to discuss border security. Harris did, however, release a YouTube special discussing space with a group of five kids.

Harris was named chair of the cabinet-level National Space Council in May, and wants preteens to get curious and excited about space. Naturally Harris chose to ignore the incredibly complex and dangerous border crisis part of her job title; instead she took the easy breezy path and spoke to kids about the wonders of space.

But Harris even failed at that job. The father of one of the boys in the “first installment of Vice President Kamala Harris’s YouTube Originals space series” spoke to the Washington Examiner and spilled the secret that the excitable space students were merely child actors.

Trevor Bernardino, a 13-year-old actor from Carmel, California was asked to submit a monologue discussing something he was passionate about as well as three questions for a world leader. He was then interviewed by the production director.

Bernardino’s agent then called him to say he booked the job. The boy’s father Carlo told the Washington Examiner in an interview Monday that “all five” of the kids in the video “are actors.”

“He’s a child actor-he’s been trying to do this type of thing for a while. And so he has a manager and an agent in LA and they send him castings. This was a casting call, a very specific one where he had to write essentially a monologue about what he’s really passionate about and he wrote a monologue about the environment.”

Trevor did not know he was meeting with or filming with Vice President Harris “until the day flying out, essentially” said his father. “The producers wanted a big surprise.” Carlo Bernardino also said the concept “was pitched to my son and us as a pilot.”

Just last week, YouTube Originals announced Get Curious with Vice President Harris, a series that aims to get more children interested in space. Sadly, Harris does not think she has anything better to do, such as make an attempt to at least trick the American people into thinking she is doing some work on their behalf. Particularly as poll numbers for the administration are plummeting.

Nonetheless, Carlo Bernardino believes the “pilot” his son participated in could get picked up as a series, depending “on the reaction and what the producers want to do.” He added “our hope is that it gets picked up.”
