Former House Speaker Mark Levin said during an interview Sunday with Fox News host Mark Levin that he thinks former President Barack Obama is really running the country through surrogates in President Joe Biden’s White House because he doesn’t think Biden’s “cognitively capable” of doing so.
“Well, [President Biden] is cognitively disadvantaged. He went to Maui and talked to people who could have had 1,000 people killed in a fire and made up a totally false story in about how he could empathize because he once had a home fire, which turned out to be in the kitchen,” Gingrich said during one interview segment.
“You watch him in Maui, and you say to yourself, he can’t be commander-in-chief. He’s not cognitively capable, he’s not in touch with reality. I personally think that Obama runs the administration, I don’t think Biden does, and I think everything they do smart comes from Obama accolades, and Biden just sort of floats along. In a way, he never left the basement,” the former Georgia lawmaker and House leader continued.
“But I also think it is important to understand Biden is the tip of the iceberg. The real corruption is Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and Biden is the smallest of the three players. And I hope that the House Republicans are going to recognize that they have a broader and deeper investigation, starting with subpoenaing all of the financial records of the Clinton Foundation, which is going to produce evidence of a level of wrongdoing that is in the millions of dollars, far beyond anything that we’ve seen with Joe Biden,” he added.
After Levin agreed and asked Gingrich to elaborate, he said: “My point would be that Obama was, in fact, a disciple of Alinski, who is the most radical writer, anti-American, anti-bureaucracy, anti-middle-class, anti-rule of law, and Hillary Clinton was a personal friend of Alinski.
“So they come out of a background where middle-class rules don’t matter, the law does not matter, honesty does not matter, and you can do whatever you can get away with. And that’s what they’ve done,” the former GOP leader said, adding that the Democrat establishment is petrified of former President Donald Trump.
“The depth of corruption is breathtaking. Frankly, the more I study it, the more stunned I am how people like you and he have been sleepwalking, not realizing the scale of the corruption taking over the system, and now it is all coming out in the open because they are so terrified of Donald Trump,” he said.
“If they can break Trump, then there is nobody who will stand up against them, and we will become like Cuba or Nicaragua or a variety of other authoritarian systems. The Nicaraguanians just put a bishop in jail for having actually advocated his religion. You can expect that kind of behavior if [Democrats] win,” Gingrich continued.
“On the other hand, if they lose, you will see a huge amount of change. The more we learn, the sicker the system looks, the more likely we will reform it,” he noted.
In conclusion, Gingrich took aim at one case filed against Trump by special counsel Jack Smith:
If you look at the case that Jack Smith has, he takes an 1870 South Carolina Klan case. You know, that was voted in by Republicans against unanimous Democratic opposition because back then, Democrats were the party of segregation, slavery, and the Klan. Ironically, he takes a law written in 1870 to go after the Klan and applies that to Donald Trump. The same thing in Willis in Fulton County. They take a law that is designed for drug dealers and the mafia and apply that to Trump. This is crazy.
