Fox News host Laura Ingraham is not believing Democrats who have said they were saddened by the assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump.
And it is tough to blame her as after the most recent attempt the Democrats and their allies in the media started the demagoguery of the former president that same night.
“Really, because come on, the Democrats’ anger is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. I find it hilarious to hear the media prattle on about the rage and the MAGA movement, but at least they’re mad about actual outcomes, the populace, the people who support Trump, they’re actually mad about real issues. President Trump’s going to discuss this tonight, losing their jobs to foreign countries, losing our country to illegal immigrants. That’s what they’re mad about. And what many Americans outside the Beltway beyond the – – as we call it, the Acela Corridor, may not be able to understand too well is just how obsessed with revenge. Today’s Democrats and their newfound bedfellows, the never Trumpers are,” Ingraham began.
“Now, think about it. They’ve all been humiliated by Trump for nine years, and no one has had the staying power or the guts to stand up to them and their agenda like Trump, they’re never going to also forgive Americans for electing Donald Trump in 2016 and they will never get over the fact that 74 million Americans voted for Trump in 2020, so as a result, the Biden-Harris team has been absolutely ruthless toward not just Trump himself, but for the nation for the past four years, they’ve been ruthless about pursuing Trump legally. They’ve been ruthless about punishing small towns with migrants,” she said.
“Another one tonight, we’ll tell you about, ruthless about keeping schools closed during COVID, ruthless about keeping churches closed during COVID, ruthless about forcing experimental shots on our soldiers, government contractors. Ruthless about censoring opposing views. You heard Hillary there. Ruthless about canceling the opposition, ruthless about how they dealt with January 6th defendants solitary confinement. Come on. These people do not care about the Constitution. They do not care about their precious norms that they like to invoke, or ethical standards that they claim to uphold. They simply do not care about what happens to the country,” the host said.
“They just want revenge, and the next 50 days can only be understood through this prism. Now it’s clear that a big contingent of the Democrat activist Left-wing base does not care if Donald Trump is assassinated. They want him gone by any means necessary. And it pains me to say this. They know he embarrassed them on economic policy, on foreign policy. They know he’s better at connecting with the middle class than they are. And I’m telling you, if Kamala is elected and the U.S. collapses, they won’t worry about that. They’re not going to have any second thoughts or doubts about their old strategy. You know what they’ll say, but at least we destroyed Trump,” Ingraham continued.
“They are so filled with hate and revenge, they made moderate Republican Senator Mike Lee from Utah actually distrust the FBI and the Secret Service, and Trump just came out onto the stage. He’s now about to talk about the second assassination attempt, so let’s dip in and see what he has to say,” she added.
