Former 2024 GOP Rivals Set to Join Trump On-Stage To Demostrate Party 'Unity'

Several of former President Donald Trump’s 2024 GOP primary rivals are expected to take the stage with him in New Hampshire ahead of Tuesday’s primaries in a “show of force” that is meant to demonstrate that the Republican Party is uniting around the likely nominee.

At 9:00 p.m. on Monday night, Trump is scheduled to host a rally in Laconia, New Hampshire, just hours before the state’s inaugural primary. Recent polls show Trump leading former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley by a substantial margin, Fox News reported.

According to a Trump campaign official who spoke to Fox News Digital, Trump will be joined on stage by Sen. Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Gov. Doug Burgum on Monday night. The three former GOP presidential candidates are set to address the audience and participate in media interviews.

“This is designed as a show of force that the party is united and ready to take on Joe Biden,” the official told Fox News.

The official added that “all three VIP guests — former opponents, now endorsers — will be drawing a sharp contrast to Joe Biden in a preview of the general election that is now here.”

Following Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s suspension of his presidential campaign on Sunday, the GOP primary field has narrowed to just Trump and Haley. Trump, who has maintained a substantial lead since declaring his candidacy, secured victory in the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15, further cementing his position as the frontrunner.

In announcing the end of his presidential run, DeSantis put his full support behind Trump, endorsing him as the right candidate for the party, Fox noted.

According to a Trump campaign official speaking to Fox News Digital, although there are no current arrangements in place, the possibility remains open for DeSantis to join Trump on the campaign trail.

Here’s how a DeSantis presence on the campaign trail with Trump could benefit the former president:
