In the past 3 elections cycles, one small bakery in Hatboro, PA has predicted the outcome of the presidential election.

As reported in Fox News, “Lochel’s Bakery, located in Montgomery County just north of Philadelphia, had launched its most recent ‘cookie poll’ about six weeks ago, offering both ‘Trump 2020’ cookies and ‘Biden 2020’ cookies in red and blue, respectively. This year’s sales, however, are unlike anything the bakery has seen during the last four election cycles. ‘People are going crazy for them,’ said bakery owner Kathleen Lochel in a statement to Fox News, adding that the shop usually only sells a few hundred each election.”

Unlike previous years, Lochel’s has already sold thousands of the tasty treats in the lead up to the 2020 race. They even had to close the bakery early so they could “bake, recoup and stock.”

Due to the high demand, Lochel’s has instituted a 6 cookie limit per walk-in customer. If you would like an advance order, it has to be 100 or more cookies with at least 3 days’ notice.

Lochel’s told Fox News, “So far as of 10 a.m. Trump is in the lead 3 to 1”.

Lochel’s is in a county where 58% of voters cast their ballot for Hillary in 2016 yet their cookie poll still accurately chose Trump’s last election. With so many more cookies being sold for Trump this year we can only imagine it will be a landslide.
