Female Student Arrested After Brutally Beating Teen Girl Outside Missouri High School

A violent brawl outside Hazelwood High School in Missouri left a teenage girl in critical condition after her head was repeatedly slammed into the concrete road. The incident unfolded at 2:30 p.m. on a Friday, just north of the school, according to St. Louis County Police spokeswoman Vera Clay.

Disturbing footage circulating online, made viral by The Post Millennial, captures the horrifying moment when two teenage girls engaged in a physical altercation on a residential road. One girl pushes the other to the ground and proceeds to punch her, while repeatedly hurling insults.

The situation escalates as the attacker straddles her victim, viciously smashing her head into the road. Onlookers can be heard shouting in shock as the assault unfolds. Eventually, the victim lies motionless on the ground, while others continue to fight around her.

Police arrived to find the victim with severe head injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.

A 15-year-old girl was taken into custody on assault charges in connection with the incident, but the investigation is ongoing, The New York Post reports.

James Clark, vice president of public safety and community response at the Urban League, condemned the incident, calling it “a glimpse into the mentality and culture of our young people.” He emphasized the need for a change in community values to address such behavior.

The Hazelwood School District expressed condolences and acknowledged the need for collective action to combat bullying and violence.

“It is a tragedy anytime children are hurt,” the statement from the schoolo reads. “Bullying and fighting in the community is an issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children. The Hazelwood School District offers our sincerest condolences to everyone involved and will offer additional emotional support from our support and crisis team to those in need.”
