Fauci: 'Real Danger' Is The 'Unvaccinated'

Dr. Anthony Fauci participated in his last White House press briefing before he steps down from his government position as the White House top health advisor and the head of the NIH.

During the press conference, Fauci made big claims that the unvaccinated were the real danger in the coming months, saying that there would be problems in the winter among those people who have made the personal medical choice to receive the Covid 19 vaccine.

Fauci began: “But the people who are most at risk are the unvaccinated. I mean, we have — 68 percent of our population is vaccinated. You know, that means that we have 32 percent of the population that’s not.

“And if you look at the data, they are just profoundly striking of the curves of death and hospitalization of unvaccinated versus vaccinated versus vaccinated and boosted.

“So, there is a relatively smaller difference in vaccinated and unboosted versus vaccinated plus boosted. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get boosted.

“But the real danger is in the people who have not been vaccinated. So, that’s where we expect — if we’re going to see a problem this winter, it’s going to be among those people.

This, however, appears to be false. The majority of Americans who are dying from Covid are now vaccinated, according to a study conducted for The Washington Post.

The rate is a part of a larger trend of vaccinated people dying at higher rates. That rate increased from 23 percent of Covid-related fatalities in September 2021, to more than double that percentage in the span of just one year, with the rate now sitting at close to 60 percent.
